There are folks trying to get to the Confederate Memorial Hall to get a status report, but no doubt it's tough, if not impossible. A mandatory evacuation order will probably delay first-hand reports for awhile. Those requesting information on other sites in Katrina's path should feel free to post a comment with the name of the site, and we'll see what we can dig up. All verified reports will be posted as soon as we get them. We also need any verified reports of missing artifacts as the weeks go by.
