MUSEUM OF THE CONFEDERACY WANTS TO AID SISTER MUSEUMS IN HURRICANE-DEVASTATED AREA
To: The Staff and officials of Beauvoir, Confederate Memorial Hall, and other historic institutions affected by Hurricane Katrina

Please be aware that all of us at The Museum of the Confederacy are heartsick at the unimaginable hurricane destruction that you have been forced to endure. We pray that you and your loved ones are safely out of harm’s way. We hope that your homes and personal property were spared. Our hearts go out to you as you contemplate the losses and the future of your beloved institutions. Most importantly, please know that you are not alone; you have many friends across the country who are anxious to be of assistance to you.
The Museum of the Confederacy is committed to helping you and your institutions in whatever way we can, and we are standing by awaiting your call. Please let us know how we can help you.
